There is nothing more powerful than strength of community.
Uniting with different organizations across the region, our Missoula event brought together about 140 people to come together and support one another and Stroke Onward. A huge thanks goes out to Jack Lawson for helping to coordinate such an incredible event and kicking off the speakers. Steve and Deb spoke first, sharing their story. Following them was a speaker for Providence St. Patrick Hospital and Mark and Michael, who shared their stories as stroke survivors. Towards the end of the speaking program, rain began pouring down while Big Sky Aphasia Program spoke, so unfortunately not all speakers could present. We were still able to present the check of funds donated locally to Big Sky Aphasia! Despite the weather, we had a great celebration with barbecue, ice cream, and live music. This was an event to remember.
Sincere Thanks to Our Allies and Sponsors:
